We’re Launching the 2026 Riders Film Festival

After another unforgettable edition, we’re excited to officially announce that the Riders Film Festival is back for 2026 — and this next chapter is shaping up to be our most ambitious yet.

What started as a celebration of freestyle culture through film has grown into a multi-day event that brings together skiers, snowboarders, skateboarders, filmmakers, photographers, brands and the wider mountain community. Each year, the festival continues to evolve while staying true to what matters most: creativity, progression and community.

More Than a Festival — A Platform for Freestyle Culture

The Riders Film Festival is not just about watching films. It’s about showcasing the stories behind the riding, the creativity of filmmakers, and the energy that defines freestyle culture across disciplines.

For 2026, we’re building on everything that has made the festival special — on snow, on concrete and on screen.

The 2026 Format

The 2026 edition of the Riders Film Festival will unfold over three action-packed days, followed by the big closing night at the Auditorium.

Day 1 — Snowboard Rail Jam
The festival kicks off in the snowpark with a dedicated snowboard rail jam, bringing together local talent, visiting riders and invited pros for a high-energy session focused on style, creativity and progression.

Day 2 — Ski Jam
Day two is all about skiing, with a rail jam that puts technical ability, originality and flow front and centre. Expect a strong mix of local riders, international guests and a buzzing crowd around the features.

Day 3 — Skate Jam
New for this evolving format, the Skate Jam brings freestyle energy off the snow and into the streets, welcoming skateboarders into the Riders Film Festival universe and reinforcing the cross-discipline spirit of the event.

The Big Night — Auditorium Screening
The festival culminates with THE big night at the Auditorium of Méribel — a full screening evening showcasing the selected film edits from the season, judged by professional riders and industry figures. This is where the stories, the riding and the creativity all come together on the big screen.

A Festival With Purpose

Beyond the sport, the Riders Film Festival continues to use its platform to support meaningful causes. As in previous years, part of the proceeds will be donated to charities including Fondation des Femmes and Movember, aligning the festival with values of solidarity, awareness and community support.
